CHOICE

The system isn't innocent. It makes the monsters it tells us it's putting away.

That's the play. A man comes out, and every time he's asked to do the right thing it's harder than the last time. Eventually it stops being a choice at all.

We watch him take that pressure and put it on somebody else. That's what pressure does when there's nowhere for it to go.

Two actors, one location, minimal design. It wants a small house and a close audience.

I want the audience asking one thing on the way out. Am I supporting the system, or am I supporting goodness? It can't be both.
